Sandeep Ramchandra Mane, today a Nationally and Internationally acclaimed Director, started his journey since he was a kid. He used to gather his friends and Direct a scene. But then, he was completely unaware that what he was doing is called “Direction”.

Slowly, step-by-step, he started becoming aware about the skills he possess, and once he knew, nothing could stop him.

Then he started his journey on this path by joining the Theatre group of his college, which, consecutively won Awards for 3 Years for their One Act Plays. After finishing his college, he joined a Hindi Theatre Group for 1 Year.

Slowly he realized that he required more training and knowledge if he wants to become a professional in the field of creativity, so he joined a very fine Institute, Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University. There he acquired training from various professional Theatre personalities. While he was in Lalit Kala Kendra, he acted in few plays and directed one.

As soon as he finished his Post-graduation, he acted in a very famous Marathi Play Yada Kadachit, which successfully completed 700 shows. During these few years, he also acted in few serials. Then for experimental Theatre, he directed and acted in Girish Karnad’s famous play Hayvadana.

After this Long Journey, he finally entered in film direction and directed his very first short film Red History, which won 3 Awards in National Level Film Festivals.

Recently he has written and directed another Short Film Paandhrya, which won 23 Awards in various National and International Film Festivals.

Now, he has completed the script of his upcoming feature film.

His passion for Theatre and Films is what brought him here, where he is standing right now. His every film is based on a realistic story. He believes, that everyone and everything has a story to narrate, all you need, is an Awareness to capture it, a clear vision to see it and an open mind to write it...!
